Three ideas in twenty minutes
Sent the age and a budget on WhatsApp and got three suggestions with photos. The circuit kit arrived wrapped in that yellow brick paper with my message written on the card.
Channapatna
Channapatna Chai-Time Tea Set
Kettle, four cups and a tray in lacquered wood
A kettle with a lift-off lid, four cups with saucers, a sugar pot and a tray, all turned from hale wood and lacquered in the colours of a roadside chai stall. Big enough to hold properly, small enough to carry to every guest in the house.
Pretend play is serious business at four: pouring, serving, taking orders, insisting everyone says thank you. The set comes in a cotton drawstring bag so the pieces stay together between tea parties.

The stacking rings have been chewed for six months and the lac has not come off. You can feel the difference from the cheap painted ones.

My son was gliding in a week. Assembly took ten minutes. One star off because delivery took five days, but they called to let me know before the birthday.

Bought the Gujarati edition of Vyapari for Diwali and my father-in-law has not let anyone else be banker since. Paid cash on delivery, packed beautifully.
