Three ideas in twenty minutes
Sent the age and a budget on WhatsApp and got three suggestions with photos. The circuit kit arrived wrapped in that yellow brick paper with my message written on the card.

Chhota Sawar Balance Bike
Pedal-free birch-ply bike with adjustable seat
Sale price ₹3,499Regular price ₹3,999−13%Rated 4.8 out of 5 from 142 reviews
The quickest way to a bicycle without stabilisers: children push along with their feet, then lift them and glide, learning balance before pedals. The frame is birch plywood with rounded edges, the wheels are 12-inch puncture-proof foam, and the handlebar has soft grips with stops at each end.
The seat moves between three heights without tools, so the bike grows from a small three-year-old to a tall five. It weighs just over three kilos, light enough for a child to pick up after a fall and for a parent to carry home from the park.

The stacking rings have been chewed for six months and the lac has not come off. You can feel the difference from the cheap painted ones.
Rated 4.0 out of 5 Balance bike, no stabilisers needed
My son was gliding in a week. Assembly took ten minutes. One star off because delivery took five days, but they called to let me know before the birthday.

Bought the Gujarati edition of Vyapari for Diwali and my father-in-law has not let anyone else be banker since. Paid cash on delivery, packed beautifully.
