Three ideas in twenty minutes
Sent the age and a budget on WhatsApp and got three suggestions with photos. The circuit kit arrived wrapped in that yellow brick paper with my message written on the card.
Ghoda Rocking Horse
Wooden rocker with a seat back and handles
A low, wide rocking horse for toddlers, with a curved seat back, two wooden handles and a footrest so small legs are always supported. The rockers stop short at each end so it cannot tip, and the seat sits just 28 cm off the floor.
Made from solid mango wood with a lac-coloured mane and painted saddle, and finished with water-based lacquer. Ours are made in a small batch each season; this run has sold out, and the next one is on the lathe.

The stacking rings have been chewed for six months and the lac has not come off. You can feel the difference from the cheap painted ones.
Rated 4.0 out of 5 Balance bike, no stabilisers needed
My son was gliding in a week. Assembly took ten minutes. One star off because delivery took five days, but they called to let me know before the birthday.

Bought the Gujarati edition of Vyapari for Diwali and my father-in-law has not let anyone else be banker since. Paid cash on delivery, packed beautifully.
