Planted in an afternoon, no algae since
Wei Ling brought the stones I had chosen from photos, built the iwagumi in my living room and talked me through the first month of water changes. Twelve weeks in and the carpet is closed with no algae at all.
Carpet and foreground plants · snail-free
Plants grown in sterile gel, so there are no snails, algae spores or pesticide to bring into a new tank. Each cup splits into 15-25 small portions; plant them 2-3 cm apart in damp soil and a carpet closes in four to six weeks under good light and CO2.
Monte Carlo is the forgiving carpet; Hemianthus Cuba the finest and hardest; dwarf hairgrass a soft meadow; Bucephalandra a slow, jewel-like epiphyte for stone and wood. Price is per cup; we suggest six cups for a 45P carpet.
Tissue-culture cups are sealed and sterile, so they travel well: tracked delivery in Singapore in 1-2 days and DHL Express worldwide in 3-5 days, packed with a heat or cold pack to suit your forecast. Cups keep for up to three weeks unopened in a bright room.

Shipped to Japan in four days. I measured the light at the substrate with my own sensor and it was within 5 µmol of their spec sheet, which no other brand I have bought has managed.
Ordered twenty at 9am, they arrived at 11 in an insulated box with two bags. All alive, eating within an hour of drip acclimation. The care note in the box was written by the person who bred them.
The 60P is flawless - you genuinely cannot see a green edge. One star off because sea freight to London took five weeks, but they told me that up front and the crate was immaculate.
