Wei Ling brought the stones I had chosen from photos, built the iwagumi in my living room and talked me through the first month of water changes. Twelve weeks in and the carpet is closed with no algae at all.
Lumen Arc LED
Full-spectrum planted-tank light with app control
A slim aluminium LED on fine stainless legs that disappears above a rimless tank. The Nature spectrum is balanced at 6,500 K for natural greens and a warm sand; the Vivid spectrum pushes red and blue for richer colour in fish and red plants.
We measured every size with a quantum sensor at the substrate of the matching tank, so the PAR on the spec sheet is the PAR your carpet will see. Sunrise, midday and sunset are set from the app, with a siesta to keep algae down.
