Wei Ling brought the stones I had chosen from photos, built the iwagumi in my living room and talked me through the first month of water changes. Twelve weeks in and the carpet is closed with no algae at all.
Fine, twisting root wood that branches like a forest canopy when it is set upright. Each piece is pressure-washed and soaked for two weeks in the yard so it sinks within a few days and leaches very little tannin.
