They measured me on the fit bike, recommended an S instead of the M I would have ordered, and swapped the stem before delivery. 4,200 km later the R1 still has not creaked once.

An upright Amsterdam commuter with almost nothing to maintain: a Gates carbon belt instead of a chain, an 8-speed Shimano Nexus hub sealed away from the weather, and roller brakes that work the same in February rain as in July sun. Full mudguards, a chain-free skirt-safe line and a rear rack rated for 25 kg.
Dynamo lighting front and rear means you never charge a battery, and the frame lock with plug-in chain is insurance-approved in the Netherlands. Choose the step-through for easy stops at every traffic light, or the classic diamond frame.
