Two kadais, two generations, one kalai slip
Sent my mother’s 1979 kadai and the one I bought here in 2022 for re-tinning together. Both came back in eleven days, silver inside, with the weight before and after written on the slip.

Straight-walled bowls for dal and chutney
Straight-walled katoris with a rolled lip, cast and turned in kansa. The new 150 ml size is for chutney, raita and ghee; the 250 ml takes a full serving of dal or kadhi.
They nest for storage and ring when stacked - which is how you know they are kansa and not polished brass.
