A thin layer of cork, stripped from the bark of living oaks without felling them, bonded with natural latex to a tree-rubber base. Cork is naturally antimicrobial and becomes grippier as it gets damp, which makes this the mat our teachers recommend for heated rooms and for anyone who finds rubber too sticky.
The surface is smooth and warm underfoot, with a slight give at 4 mm and a cushioned feel at 6 mm. A long 200 cm cut is available for taller students and anyone who likes room to step forward without stepping off.
