Deep, spiced, a little smoky. Still on my wrist the next morning after a single touch. Arrived in two days, wax seal intact, batch number on the label.
Kewda flowers are cut in Ganjam, wrapped in wet cloth and sent overnight to Kannauj, where they are distilled the morning they arrive. The kewda is heady and sweet-green, somewhere between honey, pineapple and fresh hay.
Traditionally worn at weddings and used to scent biryani and sweets, it is a bright, joyful attar that carries well in a crowd. Pairs beautifully layered over mitti.
