Our most concentrated formula, and the only one we cannot make year-round. Rosehips (Rosa rubiginosa) are picked from the hedgerow along the north field after the first hard frost, which softens the fruit and lifts the oil yield, then cold-pressed within a week. We blend the oil with sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) for its deep orange carotenoids and a little blue tansy (Tanacetum annuum) for calm, which is also where the faint indigo colour comes from.
Three to five drops pressed into damp skin at night, before any cream. Rosehip oil is traditionally used to support skin tone and texture over weeks of consistent use. This batch is made from one harvest window and once the season is pressed, that is the year - the tin says which one.
