Warm at Balu ka Ghera
Rented the Kunzum bag for Hampta in July and slept through a 1°C night with just a base layer. Bought it after the trek and the rental fee was knocked off without me having to ask.
Trail report
Ankle support, lugged sole, waterproof liner
A mid-height trekking shoe for most Himalayan treks below the snow line: high enough to hold an ankle on loose scree, light enough not to feel like a mountaineering boot. The waterproof membrane keeps out river crossings up to the top eyelet.
The 5 mm lugs bite on wet rock and grass, a rubber toe cap takes the knocks, and the lacing locks at the ankle so you can keep the foot snug on a descent and the toes loose.

Pitched the Spiti tent at Juda ka Talab in December. It snowed from 10 p.m. to dawn and the walls barely moved. Heavy to carry, but that is the point of it.
Rohtang 55 fitted to my back length in the Manali store. Carries 14 kg comfortably. Only complaint: the hip-belt pockets are a little small for a big phone.
Ordered the poles and headlamp for our office trek group with Cash on Delivery and a GST invoice. Arrived in four days, well packed, and both have survived two treks.
