Warm at Balu ka Ghera
Rented the Kunzum bag for Hampta in July and slept through a 1°C night with just a base layer. Bought it after the trek and the rental fee was knocked off without me having to ask.
Trail report
Free-standing, two doors, monsoon-proof fly
A two-door, two-vestibule tent built for the meadows of Kullu and Lahaul in June to September, when afternoon rain is a given. The fly is rated to 3,000 mm, every seam is taped, and the bathtub floor rises 12 cm at the sides so run-off goes around you, not under you.
Two crossing aluminium poles make it free-standing on rock where pegs will not hold, and it pitches fly-first so the inner stays dry in a downpour. The three-person version adds 40 cm of width for a trek leader who carries the kitchen.
Tents and expedition bags ship in a single carton from Manali within two working days; 4-7 working days across India. Free delivery on every shelter order. Cash on Delivery up to ₹20,000 and a GST invoice for clubs, schools and trek operators. Pitch it at home first - unused returns accepted within 30 days.

Pitched the Spiti tent at Juda ka Talab in December. It snowed from 10 p.m. to dawn and the walls barely moved. Heavy to carry, but that is the point of it.
Rohtang 55 fitted to my back length in the Manali store. Carries 14 kg comfortably. Only complaint: the hip-belt pockets are a little small for a big phone.
Ordered the poles and headlamp for our office trek group with Cash on Delivery and a GST invoice. Arrived in four days, well packed, and both have survived two treks.
