Two years of monthly orders and it has never once been dry or over-baked. You can taste that it is real ghee and freshly pounded cardamom, not essence. The delivery boy always arrives before lunch.
Made only with bananas that have gone properly black, mashed by hand so there are still pieces left in the batter. Jaggery replaces refined sugar, which gives the loaf its dark crumb and a faint caramel edge.
Halved walnuts go through the batter and across the top, and a little curd keeps it moist for days without any egg. It toasts extremely well on the third day with a knob of butter.

Genuinely the best multigrain loaf in the city, and the thirty-six hour ferment shows in the crumb. My only complaint is that it sells out by noon almost every day, so plan ahead or you will be buying the banana bread instead.
