The classical one-one-one triphala of the Sharangadhara Samhita: amalaki (Emblica officinalis) from Junagadh, bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica) from the Dangs and haritaki (Terminalia chebula) from the Vindhya foothills, each dried in shade, deseeded by hand and ground separately on a slow stone mill before being combined and sieved to 80 mesh.
Triphala is the most widely used churna in Ayurveda and is traditionally taken at night to support regular digestion and elimination, and as an eyewash in the morning. Stir it into warm water and let it stand a minute before drinking. Not advised during pregnancy; consult a physician if you are on medication.
