Thirty-eight years of classical Ayurvedic preparation from one house in Gandhinagar.
Vaidya Narayan Bhatt trained at Gujarat Ayurved University in Jamnagar and opened Vaidya Kutir in 1987 as a dispensing room behind the family home in Sector 7. Patients came in the morning; the churna, taila and avaleha they were sent home with were ground and cooked the same afternoon. That order - diagnosis first, preparation second - is still how the house works.
We formulate only from the classical corpus: the Charaka Samhita, the Sushruta Samhita, the Ashtanga Hridayam, the Sharangadhara Samhita and the Bhaishajya Ratnavali. If a preparation cannot be traced to a verse, we do not make it. Every label carries the text and chapter the formula comes from, so you can read the original for yourself.
We make no medical claims for anything we sell. Ayurvedic preparations are traditionally used to support the body and are not a substitute for medical treatment; please consult a registered physician before beginning any preparation, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking prescribed medication. Our unit is AYUSH licensed and GMP certified, our formulations are bhasma-free, and every lot is tested by an NABL-accredited laboratory for heavy metals, aflatoxin and pesticide residue.

Sector 7, Gandhinagar
Vaidya Narayan Bhatt opens a dispensing room, preparing churna and taila for his own patients.
2001
AYUSH licence
The preparation room becomes a licensed manufacturing unit, with batch records kept from the first day.
