Creekstone Bath Soak by Terraroot

Creekstone Bath Soak

Epsom, oat & wild mint

Coarse Epsom salt and Dead Sea salt cut with colloidal oat milled from Hudson Valley oats, plus wild mint (Mentha arvensis) and lavender we cut, dried and crumbled by hand so you can still see the flower. It dissolves clear and does not leave a ring in the tub.

Oat has been used for centuries to soften bathing water for irritated skin, and the mint is there for the smell of the room more than anything else. Two generous handfuls under a running tap. The pouch is compostable kraft with a cellulose liner; the refill size skips the scoop.

The first label I could actually verify

I looked up the lot number on the adaptogen pouch and got a real COA with the heavy metal panel on it, plus a harvest date three weeks before it arrived. That is not normal in this category. The blend itself is earthy and dissolves properly in warm milk.

The body oil replaced three bottles

Light enough for summer, rich enough after a bath in February, and the unscented one is genuinely unscented rather than smelling of sunflower. The glass goes back to them and they credit me four dollars, which after six months has more or less paid for a bar of soap.

Good tea, wish the tin were bigger

The Evening Tulsi is the best herbal tea I have had that is not sweetened into a dessert - you can smell the linden before the water is even poured. Eighty grams goes fast in a two-person house, so order the refill pouch with it.

They answered a real question honestly

I emailed to ask whether the mineral tincture was sensible alongside a thyroid medication and an herbalist wrote back the same afternoon telling me to check with my doctor first and explaining exactly why. No hard sell. I bought the tea instead and came back for the tincture later.
