A solid brass fob, 3 mm thick, on a split ring that won’t bend open in a pocket. We engrave initials or a short word on the front and a date or coordinates on the back, deep enough to stay legible as the brass warms to a soft patina.

Six blurry phone photos and a description of a dog who never sits still. The first sketch already looked like him, and they fixed the one floppy ear after my note. The original drawing came too, which was a lovely surprise.

Used the brass keyrings as wedding favours. They sent a single proof sheet with every guest’s initial so we could check them all at once. Each came in its own tagged envelope. Guests are still using them.

The leather and stitching are excellent and the copper monogram looks sharp. It was very stiff for the first two weeks - now it has softened nicely. Four stars only because I’d have liked one more card slot.
