Hand-glazed, 350 ml, initials under the glaze
A generous 350 ml mug thrown in stoneware by a studio potter in Prince Edward County, dipped in one of three glazes and fired to 1,240 °C. Your monogram is applied under the final glaze, so it can’t scratch off and goes happily through the dishwasher.
The handle is pulled by hand and fits three fingers, and the base is left unglazed so you can feel the clay. Each one is slightly different - that’s the point.

Six blurry phone photos and a description of a dog who never sits still. The first sketch already looked like him, and they fixed the one floppy ear after my note. The original drawing came too, which was a lovely surprise.

Used the brass keyrings as wedding favours. They sent a single proof sheet with every guest’s initial so we could check them all at once. Each came in its own tagged envelope. Guests are still using them.

The leather and stitching are excellent and the copper monogram looks sharp. It was very stiff for the first two weeks - now it has softened nicely. Four stars only because I’d have liked one more card slot.
