My first Sackville was a wedding suit. It has been let out once and the cuffs redone, both free, and it still looks better than anything I have bought since. The new one is in the chalk stripe.
High-rise flannels with a single forward pleat, side adjusters instead of belt loops and a curtained waistband that keeps a shirt tucked all day.
Sized by waist and leg, finished with a 1¾″ turn-up and left with a generous inlay at the seat and waist so the workroom can alter them for years.

I have always had trouble with shoulders. The cutter suggested the Tailored fit in a 42 and it sits as though it was made for me. Sleeves were shortened in the shop while I waited.

The worsted is superb and the finishing is immaculate. I took my usual chest and it was a touch close in the Slim fit - I swapped for the Tailored, which was painless.

Sent four pairs of flannels down for hemming. They came back pressed, each with a little handwritten ticket in the pocket noting what was done. Old-fashioned service, properly done.
