Twelve days from the dahlias
I followed the care card to the letter - re-cut every two days, fresh water - and the Café au Lait dahlias lasted twelve days. The box is entirely paper and cardboard, which matters to me.
Hand-tied seasonal bouquet · blush & rust
Our signature bouquet, and the one we tie most mornings. This week it is built around Café au Lait and Wine Eyed Jill dahlias from Hattie’s family farm near Faversham, with rosehip, copper beech, smoke bush and a few late scabious for movement. The palette stays blush, cream and rust; the stems change with the beds.
Every Hackney is hand-tied in a spiral so it stands up in the vase without arranging, wrapped in compostable paper and delivered in a water pouch with flower food and a care card for that week’s stems.
Hand-delivered by our own cargo bikes and electric vans across London Zones 1-6, Tuesday to Saturday - order by 1pm for same-day delivery. Next-day courier to the rest of mainland UK for £7.95. Wrapped in compostable paper with a care card and a sachet of flower food; no plastic, no floral foam.

Sent a Classic Hackney to my mum on her birthday at short notice. The rider texted a photo on delivery and the handwritten card was lovely. It looked like an armful from a garden, not a supermarket.
Outside London so it came next day by courier - still perfectly fresh in its water pouch. One star off only because the Deluxe was a little smaller than I imagined; the stem counts on the size guide are accurate though.
Hattie walked us round the dahlia field in August and built everything from what was in flower that week. No foam, nothing flown in, and they pressed our leftover stems into a frame for us.
