Ten grains and it pings
Asked for 2lb 9oz and they sent a photo of the face before it shipped. Ten straight grains, knocked in properly, edges taped. Middled the first ball I faced with it.
Hardwood mallet · raw linseed · edge tape
Everything you need to knock in a new bat yourself: a hardwood mallet with a rounded face, 100 ml of raw linseed oil, fibre edge tape and a rubber toe guard. The mallet is the one we use in the workshop.
Oil the face lightly, then knock the edges and toe for six hours over a week, building up from gentle taps. A printed guide in the box shows you exactly where and how hard.

Our academy orders all its whites and practice balls here. Quote on WhatsApp the same evening, crests printed well, and the GST invoice was right first time.
Went by height, not age, and the Harrow fits my son perfectly. Paid cash on delivery. Took four days rather than three, but it was knocked in so I did not mind.
Measured above the eyebrows as the guide said and the Small fits without the liner pinching. The grille adjusts easily and the gap is tight.
