A bat maker that also sells the kit

Thirty-two seasons of grading, pressing and shaping cricket bats by hand on Gondal Road, Rajkot.

A bat being knocked in with a wooden mallet

Crease Cricket Co. began in 1994 as a one-man bat workshop. Harshad Parmar pressed Kashmir willow for the tennis-ball tournaments that filled Rajkot’s society grounds every winter, and repaired split handles for anyone who brought one in. Within five years the club cricketers of Saurashtra were coming to him for leather-ball bats too.

Today we grade both English and Kashmir willow. English clefts arrive seasoned and are graded one by one - grain count, straightness, blemishes, weight - before they are pressed and shaped. Kashmir willow is chosen for density and durability, which is why it still makes the best first bat for a young cricketer. Every bat can be knocked in by hand before it leaves, six hours with a mallet and raw linseed oil, and its edges taped.

Around the bats we stock what a cricketer actually needs: pads, gloves, helmets, leather balls, kit bags, spikes and team whites. Clubs, schools and academies order team kits through us, quoted on WhatsApp and invoiced with GST. Cash on Delivery is available across India, and an unused bat can be exchanged for a different size or weight within seven days.

What customers say

“Ordered a Harrow for my son after the size chart said so, and they still called to check his height. The bat came knocked in, with the edges taped, and he scored his first fifty with it.”
Manish Vaghela - Parent, Jamnagar
“We kit out forty under-14s every season. The quote came back the same day, the crests were sharp, and they split the order between our two grounds without fuss.”
Coach Imran Sheikh - Saurashtra Colts Academy, Rajkot
“Picked the Grade 1 at 2lb 9oz and it pings off the middle. Ten grains, dead straight, and lighter in the hands than the weight says.”
Devang Joshi - Club opener, Ahmedabad
