The lamp Moonbeam started with: a hand-finished moon on a solid oak stand, lit from inside by a low-voltage LED that stays cool enough to cuddle after a full night on. Tap the top to cycle through three brightness levels; hold it to start a 30-minute fade so the room dims slowly, long after little eyes close.
The light is a warm 2,200K amber at its lowest - below the blue light that keeps small brains awake - and the moon’s textured shell is a shatterproof, BPA-free resin, so it survives the odd tumble off a bedside table. It charges over USB-C and runs four nights between charges, with no cord to the bed.
