Ceramide NP and three-weight hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid is usually sold at one molecular weight, which is why it so often sits on the surface and does very little. We use three: 1,500 kDa to hold water at the top of the skin, 800 kDa in the mid layers, and 50 kDa to travel further down. Layered with ceramide NP, cholesterol and fatty acids in the 3:1:1 ratio the barrier actually uses.
The result is a cream that feels light going on and still feels present eight hours later. In a 12-week user trial of 156 volunteers, 93% reported sustained comfort through the day and 82% reported less visible tightness after cleansing. Squalane rounds the texture out; there is no fragrance in it at all.
