I have worn the same overcoat for six winters. It has been re-lined once, free of charge, and it looks better now than the day it arrived. Nothing else in my wardrobe has earned its place so completely.
A three-eyelet derby on a rounded last, hand-welted so it can be resoled indefinitely rather than replaced.
Calfskin uppers, an oak-bark tanned sole and a leather-lined footbed that moulds to the foot within a fortnight.
