Six winters and counting
I have worn the same overcoat for six winters. It has been re-lined once, free of charge, and it looks better now than the day it arrived. Nothing else in my wardrobe has earned its place so completely.
Cut from a single hide of vegetable-tanned Tuscan calfskin and closed by hand with a saddle stitch that will outlast the leather.
Unlined, so the bag takes the shape of what you carry, and stamped on the base with the initials of the artisan who made it.
