A table built the way a workbench is built. The top is solid white oak laid up from four boards, book-matched across the centre line and left at 1.5 inches so it can be sanded back three or four times over its life. The legs meet the stretcher with a wedged through-tenon you can see and, if it ever loosens, tap tight with a mallet.
This price applies to the tables currently on the Brooklyn showroom floor in natural oak; made-to-order finishes return to full price. The 71-inch seats six comfortably, the 87-inch eight, and both take a 20-inch leaf extension we can cut from the same boards at the time of order.
