Actual Mamra, finally
I have bought so-called Mamra from four different shops on CG Road. This is the only one where the kernel breaks the way it should and the skin is properly dark. Worth every rupee over the California lot.
Sonaka is the long, seedless green raisin grown around Nashik and dried in shade rather than direct sun, which keeps it soft and stops the colour going brown. We buy from the Pimpalgaon lots and skip anything that has been sulphur-bleached to look greener than it is.
Cleaned, destemmed and vacuum-packed the same day. The natural colour sits between olive and pale amber - a uniform bright green in a raisin pack is a warning sign, not a quality marker.

The Kandahar Anjeer is soft right through, nothing like the dry ones from the local store. Only complaint is the Kashmiri walnut was unavailable - they told me straight that the next lot comes in October instead of substituting something else, which I respect.

Ordered the 1 kg W240 with Cash on Delivery and it reached Andheri in three days. The seal was still tight and the kernels were whole, not the broken pieces you usually get at this grade. Ordering the mixed pack next.
